Mayor Gavin Newsom today announced the completion of the Divisadero Streetscape Improvement Project, located on Divisadero Street between Waller and Geary. The Project is part of the San Francisco Great Streets Program, which improves neighborhood streets across the city by demonstrating best practices in design, landscaping, lighting and pedestrian safety. Of the nine total Great Streets Projects, three have been completed at Divisadero, San Bruno Avenue and Lower Polk Street, three are in construction at Van Ness, Leland Avenue, Valencia, and three are in design planning at Balboa Street, Cesar Chavez and 19^th Avenue.
