Mayor Newsom Announces Interfaith Winter Schedule Program for 2009-2010
“San Francisco is committed to providing our homeless residents with the necessary housing, shelter and supportive services they need,” said Mayor Newsom. “This need is even more critical during the colder months. The Human Services Agency and Episcopal Community Services are collaborating with the San Francisco Interfaith Council to provide additional shelter services to ensure our homeless residents have refuge from the cold.”
The first location to host the winter shelter will be St. Boniface Church at 133 Golden Gate Avenue. Interfaith shelter spaces are reserved on a first come first served basis. Read more.
