Mayor Announces Nektar Therapeutics to Move and Create Jobs in SF Relocation Will Bring 150 Jobs and Leading Biotech Company Headquarters to San Francisco

10/07/09 - Today, Mayor Gavin Newsom announced that Nektar Therapeutics has selected Mission Bay to establish a state-of-the-art R&D center and corporate headquarters.

"This is an extraordinary milestone for Mission Bay. With this move, Nektar will bring 150 biotech jobs to San Francisco and further establish Mission Bay as the premier biotech cluster in the nation, and arguably the world," said Mayor Newsom.
