As Thursday August 13, 2009, one of BART's unions has declared a strike. All BART service could stop as of the Sunday night close of service with no BART service on the following Monday morning. BART is operating regular service throughout the weekend. Commuters should check with BART for updates regarding BART service status. We also encourage commuters to plan for an alternative mode of transportation using the valuable information provided by Muni and 511.
